The Balanced Blonde/Soul on Fire Yoga and Intention Setting Workshop with Jordan Younger

Hello beautiful souls and welcome back to my blog! If you can believe it, it’s 70 something degrees here in New Jersey and the high vibes are kicking in and I wanted to write about one of my most positive experiences I’ve ever had!

About a month ago I attended The Balanced Blonde/Soul on Fire Yoga and Intention Setting Workshop in New York City. A little back story on this amazing soul. I was scrolling on Instagram this past summer and came upon Jordan’s. A beautiful, bubbly, yogi, and cat loving Blonde who has a passion for wellness and helping others through her blog. BUT THEN…. I came upon her podcast. Omg guys! If you need a quick hit of high vibrations, soulful, positive, and new outlooks on life then The Soul on Fire podcast is for you! I will link all of Jordan’s social media down below.

So in my relationship I am the one that is kind of more so into the whole spiritual, soulful, let’s run around so we can soak up sun while meditating haha. So when Jordan posted on her Instagram story and it’s 12 something at night by me and I can’t sleep…. I naturally grab my credit card to buy my girlfriend and I a spot in the workshop. So when my girlfriend wakes up the next morning I was like SURPRISE!!

Trying to be more in tuned with myself I kind of knew what to expect. My girlfriend on the other hand had no idea what she was going to do! We arrive in the yoga class and I see so many beautiful girls ready to throw down on their mats. I see Jordan walk in and I literally couldn’t believe it was her. I never thought that I would met her after obsessing over her words for the past couple of months.

She began with soothing Spotify beats and a relaxing calm voice, flowing us into movement and deep breathing. One thing she said that completely stuck to me was “not everyone’s body (yoga pose) is going to look the same”. I swear the beginning of the yoga class I was looking around to make sure I looked as good as the beautiful yogis, but then after she said that I was completely into myself and my movement.

After we flowed and moved for about 45 minutes to an hour I want to say, I was feeling light and strong at the same time. We then settled on our mats and took out our journals. Since listening to The Soul on Fire podcast, I have had a passion for manifesting, not knowing that what I was doing had a name to it! I was also learning that there was a point in my life that I was manifesting my new/ better life without even knowing it!

Jordan led us through intuitive writing, I want to say correctly. We can all write about what we want, but the way she worded it to us, my writing has completely changed since she taught us! I remember looking over and seeing my girlfriend writing so much down! I was shocked because a couple of weeks ago I bought her a notebook for this workshop and she said she would doodle in it while I intention set. Well she was tearing up during the intention setting and it was so beautiful. I feel like this workshop brought me even closer to my girlfriend because she had a better understand of what I enjoy doing!

During the writing Jordan asked us to pick a word for ourselves. My word has always been healing or letting go. I couldn’t believe the word that came into my head and through my pen onto my notebook. “Proud”. I was so proud of myself in the moment.

Afterwards was the best part of all. Meeting Jordan! Omg hugging her and just telling her Thank you was awesome. Literally a moment I will never forget. Thank you so much Jorden for everything you do for all of us! You have made my life better!
