Hello my beautiful and vibrant souls and welcome back to my blog! From the title you can guess what we are discussing today. The big D. DEPRESSION!
Now first off NEVER fell bad or get so hard on yourself because everyone, at least once in their life, has gone through depression. Days that I feel like I can’t get out of bed are the absolute worse! But I’m here to give you some of my top tips to help you reframe from staying in bed all day.
Tip number 1: Always stay educated
I think you should always be doing something. If you’re educating yourself on new recipes, educate yourself on how to learn yoga, or how to start a blog. Always have your mind on something fun and interesting. Learn new things! You’ll be surprised how much it helps to have something new going on for yourself!
Tip number 2: Grab a book
Even if it’s one, always have an inspirational go-to book for quotes or advice! So stop scrolling on Instagram and head to your local Barnes and Noble. My favorite is “You are a badass” by: Jen Sincero.
Tip number 3: Self-Care
I’ll be the first to say I AM NOT MADE OF MONEY. But I still try to save 20-40 dollars every month so I can buy a new face cream, bath salts, or go for a massage. It’s so important to take care of yourself! So have fun with it!
Tip 4, 5, 6: YOGA, YOGA, and YOGA
You do not need a fancy class or a mat. It only takes 20 minutes to get on the floor, set up candles, music and just breath. Even if you’re meditating. It helps a lot.
