My 3 Mindful Self-Care Weekend Tips and Product Review

My 3 Mindful Self-Care Weekend Tips and Product Review

Hello beautiful souls and welcome back to my blog! On this Monday morning I can’t help but reflect on my weekend of mindful self-care. But firstly, I would like to give the biggest thank you to our sponsor ZandoMarket for my beautiful yoga pants. ZendoMarket is an up and coming women’s clothing line created for the fashionable yogi! Not only are their products  made to order, but all products are eco-friendly with eco-safe ink and eco-friendly fabric!

The one thing I absolutely loved about these beautiful marble yoga pants, besides being so comfortable, was that it was a 90 degree fall day and I wasn’t sweating or uncomfortable! They kept me completely cool while I did my poses! Thank you so much again ZendoMarket!

Tip 1.

When in doubt, massage it out! Now I know massages are expensive, but I went on search for a great place with amazing reviews and reasonable pricing! I found a great place with a 70 minute massage for 45 dollars! I never thought getting a massage would be my new self-care practice, but I recommend everyone to get one once every two months. Our bodies go through so much tension and stress day after day that it needs pampering.

Tip 2.

Set good intentions. Part of self-caring for yourself is practicing graditude and having a positive mindset. While I do know that is hard to achieve everyday. One must value their self worth and practice being grateful for the things you have instead of feeling negative about the things you don’t have yet.

Tip 3.

Just be present. One of the hardest things I face daily is being present. During my massage instead of being scared it would go too fast, I took deep breaths and stayed present through the whole 70 minutes. I also found myself staying present while sitting at a park with my girlfriend, her sister, and  her boyfriend. Just having no cares to be anywhere or running errands. I was able to enjoy the weather and the company because I let my mind, body, and soul be present.

Please comment below your mindful self-care tips!! So much love to all of you!!

I love getting massages so much and just like you, try to get one at least once every couple of months. They’re amazing at preventing sports-related injuries as well. My favourite self-care practice is definitely forcing myself to relax which is similar to your point about being present – I am someone who feels guilty when I am not working on something and that makes taking time out for myself so much more important. Loved this post and I hope you had an incredible weekend! <3

Ah Maria! I always get excited when you comment on my post! You’re my new blogger friend xo But I also feel so guilty too if I feel like I’m not doing something productive, but self-care is very productive as I came to learn xo

Love the post ♥ One of my favorite self-care tips is to be out in nature. For me there is something so healing about being outside, moving and listening to inspirational music

Nature is so soothing and healing! Why don’t you write about it!

Oh I love massages! I haven’t had one in awhile and it’s time I get one again! I also love to practice gratitude. I try to write at least three everyday. It is hard to keep up with it, but I’ve noticed it does definitely boost my mood.

I think a lot of people struggle with being present, being in the moment. We are “always so busy” doing stuff, thinking about the future, rerunning the past. It’s so important to slow down and just focus on the now. This brings so much more happiness. I meditate a lot, starting the morning with quiet time for a few minutes, allows me to settle into the day after my yoga practice. It just sets such a good tone for the rest of the day. Thank you for the post!

Yes, getting a massage can be amazing! I’d love to find somewhere that cheap! I would add getting a pedicure to this list. I always find that very relaxing.
